Welcome to BeachVolleyTraining.com, a great resource for new and continuing students of Dennis Collins' beach volleyball classes.
Enjoy learning the proper techniques and mechanics of playing Beach Volleyball. As depicted on the Fine Living Channel, Dennis Collins, x-AAA player and Masters National Champion, is in his 26th year of coaching Beach Volleyball. Many top players, pros and coaches are alumni of Coach Collins’ system.
Dennis is currently teaching beach volleyball classes year round through the city of Hermosa Beach, California. Spring and Summer classes are held on Wednesday evenings from April until September; Winter classes are held on Sunday mornings.
If you miss the first week of class, it's o.k. to sign up and come out for week two... we'll catch you up!
Rainy Day Policy
If it is raining heavily or VERY windy just prior to start of class we likely won’t be playing volleyball . If the weather is "iffy" or it is raining lightly or moderately, the instructors will be at the beach where a decision to play or talk volleyball will be made. Please note, if you’re a bit late to a Wednesday night class and you don’t see anyone on the courts, more than likely, we will be at Sangria "talking volleyball strategy" over a couple of bevies and hoping the bad weather passes.
As you’re aware, the weather can change rapidly (sometimes within 15 minutes or less) and it can turn out to be a beautiful day/evening. On these occasions the type of students we draw typically want to resume class, so that’s what we do!
