Equipment Needed
- Volleyballs and Nets are provided
- Depending on the time of year and day, dress in layers including shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants.
- Bring fluids to class.
Rain/Wind Policy
If it is raining heavily or VERY windy just prior to start of class we likely won’t be playing volleyball. If the weather is “iffy” or it is raining lightly or moderately, the instructors will be at the beach where a decision to play or talk volleyball will be made. Please note, if you’re a bit late to a Wednesday night class and you don’t see anyone on the courts, more than likely, we will be at Sangria “talking volleyball strategy” over a couple of bevies and hoping the bad weather passes.
As you’re aware, the weather can change rapidly (sometimes within 15 minutes or less) and it can turn out to be a beautiful day/evening. On these occasions the type of students we draw typically want to resume class, so that’s what we do!
